An interesting parallel to the Buddhist notion of equanimity: when an individual acknowledges that everything unfolds as a natural consequence of God’s nature, they become less likely to respond emotionally to individuals and situations. Part 5 hints at ways of obtaining freedom from our emotional programming, which is beautifully described in Part 3 " Like waves of the sea driven by contrary winds we toss to and fro unwitting of the issue and of our fate."
